Snorkel Progression
I absolutely had to write you (and your company) a fan letter with regard to your Swimmer's Snorkel.
I realize that I am probably not the typical profile for the swimmer for whom this was originally designed. I'm rapidly
approaching 56, my body bears witness to 30 years of sitting at a desk, and I haven't been swimming for years. Nonetheless-I thought
it might be a useful tool to help me get back into distance swimming.
My husband tried his immediately and said that he liked it. He also said that it would take some getting used to, but that it was
well worth the effort. I liked it within two strokes. It felt totally natural and I was in love with it by the time I finished my
first lap.
I just started back into swimming four short weeks ago. The first day back into the pool it took me an hour and a quarter to swim
one mile. Within two weeks I'd reduced that significantly to about 48-52 minutes. Last week I settled into a range of 48-50 minutes
and there I stayed. The best I could usually hope for was 3-4 laps (up and back constituting one lap) before I'd have to rest.
Today, I started swimming and when my goggles fogged up to the point I could no longer see, I stopped to clear them and was stunned
to find that I'd already completed 9 laps. The next time I stopped to check my progress. I'd completed 29 of my 33 laps. I completed
my mile swim in 39 minutes. I wear a lap counter that tracks time and splits, and in addition to swimming continually, my fastest lap
dropped by 5 seconds.
And if that wasn't enough, I discovered when I got out that I felt great-rather than grateful that I'd finally finished without
killing myself. I can only assume that this is due to the fact I was getting so much more oxygen during the workout.
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I love the product and if you aren't marketing it in AARP-you need to start doing so! What
a fabulous tool even for those of us who are not trying to prepare for the Olympics.
Hurray for FINIS!!!

Going the Distance
Just a brief note to let you know that the SwiMP3 player is the greatest addition to my swim workouts in the last decade. In
the absence of a coach or masters swim team (I swam competitively at the high school and collegiate level), it’s been extra difficult
for me to be motivated enough to rack up decent yardage totals. After a few hundred yards, I’m ready to hang it up for the day!
Since I got my hands on your SwiMP3 player a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been able to sail through difficult workouts without a trace
of boredom. At age 57, fitness is especially important to me, as I want to do everything in my power to hold off Father Time.
Yesterday’s workout consisted of a thousand yard warm up, a 400-IM, 300 yards of various drills, and some underwater swimming.
It was a piece of cake! I had great tunes to take my mind away from the boredom and fatigue. I’ve even mastered the perfect
playlist; folk and easy rock work best – hard driving rock & metal are much too brisk.
It’s easy to download tunes to the SwiMP3; the media manager makes it a snap! No appreciable drag. Easy to attach to my swim
goggles. I have NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THE SwiMP3.
I even talked to our product manager in charge of MP3s here at work to see if he might be interested in swinging a deal with you
folks to sell these players on line. I have to tell you, that little MP3 player has made MY days, many times over, and it’s the envy
of several of my triathlon-loving co-workers here. I honestly believe I could sell a bunch of them! It’s a wonderful product at an
affordable price.
I’m going to order another one soon as a gift to my nephew, who lives in Ireland. He swims masters there and would really love the
SwiMP3. It’s a wonderful product, the instructions are great, and I’m starting to love your company!
I am one of your most enthusiastic devotees and I spread the word about your great product everywhere I swim. By the way, I’m
working on a swim coach safety certification with the ultimate goal to give swimming lessons, and I will continue to spread the
good news about the SwiMP3 player by FINIS.
One of these days I’m going to buy one of your mono flippers. From now on, I’m going to shop first at FINIS for all my swimming
needs. I want to take my training to a new level, and FINIS has inspired me!
Great job, guys! Best wishes.

Forgetting You’re Exercising
I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful Swimp3. I received it from a dear friend my birthday last week. He purchased it few
months ago and was totally taken away by this amazing Swimp3 player.
Amazing indeed. For the last 2 years, I have resorted to swimming after 40 years of active basketball, soccer, golf and squash.
Swimming has never been my obsession. Reason is simple: boredom. Boredom always finds me whenever I swim. Well, the good news is
I think I have discovered something totally incredible. Trying out the first time with the Swimp3 player during my last 3 swim
outings this week, I accumulated 60, 50, 45 minutes consecutively (My normal swim time is around 30-35 minutes) without feeling
fatigue or sensing time was up. The music was everything; hearing some of your favorite songs gives you that added surge and
passion. I did not even notice until I checked the time and it simply shocked me how much longer I swam. It was unbelievable.
This Swimp3 is taking me to another level. I would recommend this amazing gadget to any swimmer.
Thanks so much for such a wonderful product.

Taking the Monotony out of Swimming
I work with NavySEALS.com as a Moderator and Instructor, and I am also an extreme endurance athlete. As such, I spend a
considerable amount of time training. I am presently training for an attempt to run up to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. In order
to prepare for this challenge I have adopted a cross training regime that consists of a daily run of 12 miles followed by either a
2.5 mile swim three to four days per week or a beast of a Cross Fit type weight room workout. This degree of training can be very
boring and monotonous. I have always relied upon music when I run and do my workout in the weight room, however, up until recently I
used to dread having to go to the pool and swim 2.5 miles without any source of entertainment. Mind you it's not that I do not like
swimming, rather it was just the monotony of having to stare down at the bottom of the pool for hour upon hour during those 3 to 4,
2.5 mile swim workouts.
Now I thoroughly enjoy getting wet in the pool. Why? About three months ago I purchased the SwiMP3 player and BAM that changed
everything. From the very first second I started using the SwiMP3 player I was totally hooked. All I could think was why in the world
did I wait so long to get one? The SwiMP3 player makes swimming SO enjoyable. The sound is terrific and it is so comfortable to wear
I don't even realize that I am wearing it. It is almost as if the music is coming from within my head. I cannot begin to tell you how
great it is to be able to hear all of my favorite songs while swimming. The laps seem to fly by. Thanks to my SwiMP3 player, spending
ninety minutes in the pool is no longer monotonous or boring.
The SwiMP3 is an amazing little device that will give you hours and hours of enjoyment. If you have never swam with music let me
tell you it is very, very cool. A few days ago I headed over to the pool and I realized that I had left my SwiMP3 player at home.
Boy did I learn my lesson to make sure I have my SwiMP3 player with me every time. My punishment for forgetting it was to have to
swim the 2.5 miles absent of my music, and that was not fun. This made me realize how much I love the SwiMP3 player. It has joined
my dry land MP3 player as one of the most important pieces of training gear I own.
The SwiMP3 player is a great asset that will help me prepare for my attempt to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro. It will make we want to
spend those extra hours getting wet in the pool. This, in concert with my lengthy runs and extensive Cross Fit workouts, will get me
ready for the long trek up a very, very big hill.

A Legend Reborn
I have swum more in the last 4 days than I have swam in the last six months since I got my SWIMP3 PLAYER!!! Wow, 10 minutes now
only feels like 30 minutes! But I've got to add more tunes so I can get through at LEAST 40 minutes!!! 10 minutes more a day and
I'll see you at Master's worlds in about a year (when I'm 50!). Anyway, I swam with my SwimP3 on Thursday morning for 1/2 hour after
yoga class and another 30 minutes after a 2nd yoga class Thursday night. Yeah, that's right...DOUBLES! AND I swam today after
another 90 minute yoga class, WHAT AN ANIMAL! Wo, Dude, watch out or I might get totally pysched up to make a seriously ridiculous
comeback! (like MS in '96), now that I know how to add more tunes I may never stop swimming. Where were you guys when I was actually
making a wake in the ANIMAL LANE?
You guys rock!
