Brendan Sexton began swimming at the age of seven and competed in his first triathlon events at age fifteen. He made his first National Team two years later at seventeen years old and never looked back. In 2007, Sexton earned a silver medal at the U/23 World Championships in Hamburg which solidified his place as an elite-level triathlete. Sexton earned his spot on the AUS Olympic Team after an impressive 2011 season, where he placed fourth in the World Championships in Sydney and took gold at the World Cup race in Monterrey. Sexton now splits his training between Melbourne and Vitoria, Spain and is poised to make a run to the top of the triathlon world. FINIS is proud to be the brand behind his time in the water!
