Swimsense™ Training Log Compatibility Update

We are working with a number of leading training log providers to integrate your Swimsense Performance Monitor. Soon your swim data can be viewed with your preferred training log.

Our future partners include:

TrainingPeaks
BeginnerTriathlete
2Peak
SportTracks

At this point we cannot provide a timeline, but know that we are working on these partnerships and they will come to fruition sooner rather than later.

In particular, the TrainingPeaks integration is in the final development phase and is going through Beta testing as we fine-tune some graphs and other outputs. Check out the TrainingPeaks blog post about the future integration. Note that our current plans do not include WKO+ compatibility.

Please follow us on Twitter and Facebook for regular updates.

Kind Regards,

The FINIS Team

What about Polar? You could export the data as an .hrm file which, by the way, is something al the above programs now how to handle, including WKO+. Independent of the destination program it would be great if you could add an additional column in the web interface to add heart rate data before export.

Integration with SportTracks 3.0 is ready for beta testers to check out and give us feedback. You can find info on the ST forums here:

I have been having a lot of difficulty with the Bridge connection. Has anyone else experienced this? I have had to return one docking station already, and now it looks like my second one has failed. Anyone else experiencing this?

Roger: I had the same problem. I used a different USB cable and it worked fine after that so you may want to try before sending the dock station back. I will also say that I am on my second Swimsense. The first one quit on me after 2 months but the folks at swimoutlet.com were wonderful and replaced it immediately.

WHAT ABOUT POLAR? Currently I can only find the old model polar watch able to record my heart rate while swimming(others can’t read hrm while swimming). It would be good if I can combine the heart rate data with swimsense!

  7. Ken,
We are looking at heart rate data closely for future integration. In the meantime, check out our new AquaPulse: http://www.finisinc.com/aquapulse/
