The SwiMP3 is like an extension of my swimsuit! I can swim for hours (literally!) with so many of my favorite songs and I change out the list every month or so with fresh beats. It never gets old and it's a great way to get and keep a rhythm in the water. It holds a charge forever and the sound is incredibly clear.

Too expensive I think, but it works properly... it's amazing. Bad thing is the price, too expensive for a spanish person just like me.

I use to have a water proof case for my ipod but with that comes cords and armbands... Also, I have an issue with hearing in one ear and with the swimp3 I hear the music great! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

I've tried them all. Any of the players that have speakers that fit into your ears, will inevitably end up (probably within seconds, or minutes at the most) having all of the sound muffled. Within seconds or minutes of using the other players, the seal that the other player's ear bud speakers make in your ear gets broken, you get water in your ears, and 90% plus of the sound is muffled and inaudible. Plus, even if you can manage to keep the seal tight for a few minutes, then you are completely isolated from everyone else in the pool...the second you take the ear bud speaker out of your ear to hear what someone is saying, the seal is broken, water gets in your ear, and 90% plus of the sound is muffled and inaudible.

The only player to consider is the Finis SwiMP3, because it does NOT have ear bud speakers. It also has a pause button that you can easily hit to talk to your fellow swimmers, and can easily hit again when you begin swimming to re-start the music. The player slips onto your goggles easily and stays there, no fussing at all, and you don't even realize that it's there. Plus, it's incredible how this works, the sound you hear when your head is in the water is fantastic, and very audible.

I like working out to music, and this player is the only one that allows me to do so.

I just tried my SwiMP3 X 18 for the first time last night. Since I am new to using this waterproof MP3, I did not experience the issues that others complained about in the last model. The sound was great and helped me swim more laps than I have in the recent past. I was amazed how good it sounded without having earphones in my ears. I was able to wear earplugs to keep water out and still hear my music. I did many different strokes and the music just kept coming...
I do wish the little green light was easier to see in a pool setting. I had a little trouble being able to determine when it was on and when it was off. I actually had to listen to know for sure.

Better than original which was uncomfortable swimming on your back. This one has way more storage.
