Technique is the foundation of effective swimming and involves the whole body working with the water, not against it. The PT Paddles, which stand for "Perfect Technique," help swimmers gain a more efficient stroke. The unique paddle shape eliminates the use of hands, forcing swimmers to focus on other parts of the body to generate propulsion. Gain a higher elbow position, practice a consistent kick, learn to how to roll the hips, and catch water with the forearm for forward momentum.
Concave Shape
Removes the hands, forcing the swimmer to focus on other parts of the body to generate propulsion and build proper muscle memory
Early Vertical Forearm
Enter the catch phase earlier with more strength from forearms and hips
Develop Strength
Strengthen elbow, forearm and core
Enhance Feel For The Water
Remove the paddles to re-engage hands and feel a stronger catch
Jump-Start Kick
With the elimination of the hands one is forced to kick harder and stronger
Shoulder Safe
Build shoulder muscles to prevent future injuries

Can't say enough about these paddles. Had them on deck at women's NCAA's this year. Awesome stuff. We call them mouse paddles as they look like the old school computer mice... I would disagree however with part of how they were demonstrated in the video - I think you need to have all the excess rubber cord on the backside of the hand and not on the underside that is "pulling" the water. I think you want the underside as smooth as possible in order to make it even more "slippery."

Only two things would make these better -

1. If they could somehow be made lighter...they are a bit heavy for someone with shoulder problems when they become waterlogged.

2. A different strap system, perhaps velcro similar to the bolster but with just one strap and not two as the bolster has.

Great paddles, our women love them!
