FAQs

Q. My XtreaMP3 battery only lasts for a couple of days. Is there something wrong with my battery?

A. Sometimes, the battery still runs on a small charge after shutting down the XtreaMP3.  To turn the unit completely “OFF”, press and hold the ON/OFF button until the unit shuts down. Then press the RESET button. After you press the RESET button, you will notice a quick flash a few seconds later. This flash indicates that the unit is completely powered down and your battery will last longer.

Q. My XtreaMP3 doesn’t have 8 hours of playback time.  Am I doing something wrong?

A. By default the XtreaMP3 will have 8+ hours of playback, but the amount of playback time will vary based on volume you set on the XtreaMP3. The higher the volume, the less playback you will have.

Q. Why isn’t my XtreaMP3  iTunes compatible?

A. You will have to convert your songs on iTunes before loading them onto the XtreaMP3. Please refer to the walkthroughs tab for instructions.

Q. I am using a MAC and it says that my XtreaMP3 is full even after I’ve deleted all the songs.  What am I doing wrong?

A. You will need to empty out your trash after deleting songs to free up the deleted space on your XtreaMP3.  This needs to be done while your swimp3 is plugged into your computer.

Q. When I turn on my XtreaMP3 the green light just blinks a few times and then turns off.  What is wrong with it?

A. This is an indication that the player is either empty or does not have playable songs loaded.  Make sure you have songs loaded and that they are either MP3 or WMA format.
